Back in March we spent an afternoon at the beach, building in the sand and playing in the water
The blossoms were falling off the tree and the kids were trying to catch them, pretending it was snow!
The seeds we planted are starting to grow...
a couple weeks later and they've grown even more!
Lots of bike rides- going through puddles is a must!
One day we 'foraged' around our yard and found items from nature to make into works of art!
This past Sunday the kids helped their Grandma plant some seeds in the vegetable garden.
We picked up a set of geometric shapes from the teacher store to help with Jaxon's next unit in math. Jaxon's working on remembering the names and has no problem sorting objects to match to the picture or shape.
Jaxon did a 3D shape sort and matched the pictures to the correct shape. He was having trouble keeping the right names of the shapes sorted though so we will be practicing that.
Doing a shape hunt, Jaxon went around the house looking for objects that are the same as the ones in the picture. He saw some shapes that are easy to find and in every day items and some objects we usually don't see at all.
Working on a book report
His seed collection is almost complete
Practicing his letters and matching them up
Jaxon has started soccer with a group of other homeschoolers and his best friend Danny, he's really enjoying it and runs around the whole time- he's very competitive!
Jaxon loves jumping on the trampoline, it was so nice out we even put the sprinkler on underneath!
Jaxon painted using a fork and made Tulips
He made sure the flowers had soil, water, and sun to grow!
We made Earth Day crowns that Jaxon proudly wore everywhere that day.
We also went outside and picked up garbage along our street.
Just last week we visited a greenhouse to pick up some flowers for our garden bed, Jaxon got to see how they can grow flowers and plants even when it's cold outside.
