Term 3 with Jaxon and Livy

Already in full swing of term 3 and we're getting excited for summer with all this beautiful sunshine.
It makes for great opportunities to get outside to play and explore. We've been going on a hike once a week to get some exercise, explore new places, and learn an appreciation for nature.
Our first hike we went to Cascade Falls

The week after that we went to Cheam Lake Wetlands

Last week we went to Kanaka Cliff Falls

We also made a trip out to the Abbotsford Tulip Festival and took in the beautiful sight of the acres and acres of flowers.

This week we went to Campbell Valley Park to explore.

Jaxon and Alivia are in art class at 4 Cats again this term doing a mixed media with a Jungle theme. Here is their paintings so far (Jaxon on the left and Alivia on the right).

We've been working on sight words and reading with both Jaxon and Alivia this term. Here there are doing some school 'games' on the computer.

Here's Alivia learning on her 3D shapes

We just picked up these teeny tiny caterpillar's a few days ago, after observing them and watching them grow we'll do a report to tell all about what the kids have learned.
