Finishing Term 3

This year is coming to an end, Jaxon has been an eager learner for the most part but the last few months have definitely been more challenging! I've been trying to keep his learning exciting and engaging- he loves hands on activities and learning outdoors. He finished off his seed collection outside here one day.

The seeds that we started in pots we transplanted to our garden where they have continued to grow!

We already did the experiment with celery in coloured water but decided to try a flower, it was very neat to see how the flower changed colour.

The kids went foraging around the yard to find all different kinds of leaves.

Here is Jaxon with part of his leaf collection which is now being pressed between newspaper to dry out.

Planting more seeds, this time pumpkins! These are supposed to be giant ones, so we are all pretty excited to see how big they might grow!

A couple weeks later the seeds had already sprouted!

The garden the kids planted with Grandma is growing quickly!

And we found a cool new park with lots of challenging equipment
